Research Interests

My research interests include: social semantic web, ontology-based network analysis, communities of practice, semantic knowledge integration, web science, ontology-based knowledge extraction, semantic similarity measures, ontology searching and ranking, semantic web applications, and cross-folksonomy integration and analysis.

TAGora: Semiotic Dynamics in online social communities.



Past projects:

OntoMediate: aims to explore the extent to which collaborative environments can be used to support the identification of mappings between ontologies.

AKTivePSI: working with the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) to demonstrate how such information can be semantically described and organised to increase integration and reuse.

AKT (Advanced Knowledge Technologies) The aim of AKT is to develop and extend a range of technologies toAKTprovide integrated methods and services for capturing, modeling, publishing, reusing and managing knowledge.
