Robot swarm: recruitment/infection scenario

Ants collaborating

The effective collaboration of ants is one of the drivers behind the desire to develop swarms of robots. The movie shows ants carrying an egg shell piece many times their own size, clearing the path for the transport and climbing a wall with the egg shell.

The movie is also available for download (.mov 10.4MB).
