I am a PhD student in the Intelligence, Agents, Multimedia Group, School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton. I work for the ALADDIN Project and am supervised by Professor Nick Jennings and Dr Sarvapali (Gopal) Ramchurn.

My research is concerned with coordination of multiple agents in a disaster management scenario, specifically that of flooding. In this, my aim is to produce a decentralised coordination mechanism which will be scalable, robust in an uncertain environment, and will cope well under restricted communication.

To date, we have studied the max-sum algorithm and applied it to our domain. We have produced two augmentations to the traditional max-sum algorithm to reduce unneeded communication and computation in a situations where nodes are being added to and removed from a graph. These augmentations are called Fast Max Sum and Bounded Fast Max Sum.

From 2006 to 2008, I was involved in work with Dr Sarvapali Ramchurn into the development of the ECSKernel platform for Robocup Rescue.
