This demo is made up of a dimension for each of the lines on the London Underground, together with an above ground tour of various tourist attractions. The tour dimension links each of the attractions in order, while the 'up' dimension is used to link some of the underground stations to a nearby above-ground attraction. There is a Web page about each attraction that is presented in an independent window. First of all we start out at Waterloo underground, with Waterloo International above ground. We'd like to take the Northern line to Charing Cross. Since the Northern line is mapped to the Y axis, we can step downwards until we get to Charing Cross. The X axis represents taking the escalator above ground, so moving to the right we can see tourist attractions accessible from some underground stations. Step down twice now by pressing the down button or the 'c' key. Now we'll go above ground to visit the National Gallery. Take one step to the right by pressing the right button or the 'f' key. The National Gallery is a nice place, as we can see from a Web page that appeared when we stepped into its cell. To see what else is on the tour, we'll have the Tour dimension projected onto the Y axis rather than the Northern line. Choose 'Tour' from the 'Down' menu, or press the 'y' key twice.
