About me

Hi there! I'm Paul! [Picture of Me]

I am currently at Southampton University studying Computer Science, which is extremely exciting because I now get to work in a subject area that is one of my greatest passions.

One area I have explored is adding new functionality to applications, even when they are not Open Source. This is an extremely interesting subject - being able to intercept existing program execution to add new functionality is an exciting prospect. My third year project incorporates this interest, as I am creating a 3D window manager for Microsoft Windows (Vista and/or 7); such a project is not possible (at the time of writing) using official APIs.

I also very much enjoy playing piano, guitar and singing. Muse, Coldplay and The Fray are just some of the bands I like to imitate, but I also compose my own pieces.
