Format for Accepted Papers

Papers should be 8 pages maximum. For the convenience of authors attending SAB'02 as well as WGW02, the formatting requirements are identical (except for the 8 page limit). Papers should be prepared in either PostScript or pdf format. An example postscript file illustrating the required layout is available as as well as a pdf version wgwex.pdf.

You may use any word/text processor for paper preparation, provided the submitted file is in the required format and the layout matches that in the example files. However, use of LaTeX and BibTeX are very highly recommended. A LaTeX class file (sab.cls) and an example source file (example.tex for which you will also need example.eps and example.bib) are available to help you. Please use these files rather than earlier downloads from the SAB'02 web site. The files have been changed slightly to fix a few small bugs. A bibliographic style file (sab.bst) is included but experienced LaTeXers may prefer to use chicago.sty instead. (It is both more flexible and more stable.) Please be careful to give full, complete and consistent literature citations. (BibTeX will help enormously in this.)

Students who indicated their student status in the version of their paper submitted for review should remove the footnote to this effect in the final paper.

The submission deadline is 1 July 2002. Please check your paper very carefully before sending two hardcopies to:
