Hello, welcome to my web page. I am a Senior Research Fellow and member of the Intelligence Agents Multimedia (IAM) group. My research interests span across many areas of knowledge engineering and modelling over the past 11 years. My background is in computer science and artificial intelligence. I am currently conducting research in the areas of semantic interoperability and integration, semantic web, knowledge management and applications of semantic technologies.

Currently, I am involved in the International Technology Alliance (ITA) programme. The ITA programme is a bilateral consortium of 24 UK and US organisations sponsored by the US Army Research Laboratory and UK Ministry of Defence under the overall management of IBM. My work in ITA is in project 12 where I investigate semantic integration solutions for dynamic networked environments. |

In the past, I worked on the internationally renowned AKT project (2000 to mid 2007). The Advanced Knowledge Technologies (AKT) project carried out by a consortium of five UK leading universities and backed by over twenty industrial, commercial and governmental organisations. |

I was also a principal investigator in an industrially funded project on semantic integration, CROSI. More on the work we did on this front, can be found in the project's web page by clicking here. In CROSI we also developed and released an open source ontology mapping system, CMS, which can be accessed by clicking here. |
